History and Background
The DMIRIE Foundation Incorporated (DFI) is a faith-based, non-profit, and non-government organization committed to empowering the most vulnerable sectors of society. Established with compassion and service at its core, DFI was born out of a deep desire to provide hope, dignity, and opportunities to underprivileged Filipinos across both rural and urban communities.
Since its official registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Registration No. CN200319023) on September 4, 2003, DFI has remained steadfast in its mission to uplift the "poorest of the poor," in line with the principles outlined in Republic Act 8425, also known as the Social Reform and Poverty Alleviation Act of 1997. Guided by faith and compassion, the organization operates in accordance with the Corporation Code of the Philippines and adheres to all legal and ethical standards required of non-profit institutions.
DFI's dedication to accountability and quality service is reinforced by its accreditation with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC), and other regulatory bodies. These recognitions reflect the organization's unwavering commitment to transparency, excellence, and positive social impact.

Community-Based Programs
DFI implements seven distinct services under its community-based approach, designed to address various social, economic, and health-related needs within communities. These programs promote self-reliance, economic empowerment, values formation, and essential support to marginalized families.
Step-Down Care Facility
The organization operates a center-based facility dedicated to providing transitional care and support for individuals who are recovering or in need of extended care after hospitalization. This facility bridges the gap between hospital discharge and full reintegration into society, ensuring beneficiaries receive proper medical, emotional, and social support.
Auxiliary Agency
DFI serves as a resource and support agency for shelters and other care institutions. Through technical assistance, resource mobilization, and operational support, the foundation enhances the efficiency, capacity, and overall quality of services provided by partner organizations and facilities.
